Worship – Baptisms, Weddings & Funerals

What you need to know

BAPTISMS

Baptism is a sign of entry into the church. Holcombe Brook Methodist Church offers baptism for infants who come with their parents. This is a significant family time of giving thanks for the child, but a commitment by the parents as to what sort of parents they want to be and how they would like their child to turn out.

Baptism is also offered for older people on their own commitment to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

All enquiries should be addressed to the minister, John Illsley.

WEDDINGS
Holcombe Brook is registered for weddings. Anyone interested in arranging a wedding should speak to the minister, John Illsley.

FUNERALS
The death of a loved one is a most significant happening. The church wants to do all it can to support at these times. The funeral service is an important time of giving thanks and celebrating the life of the person who has died.

Funeral services can be held at the church or at the cemetery or crematorium. In all cases they will be as personal and encouraging as possible. Again all enquires to the minister.
